A fine red-glazed dish, Seal mark and period of Qianlong. Estimate 60,000 — 80,000 HKD. Photo Sotheby’s

with shallow rounded sides supported on a tapered foot, applied on the underside with a peachbloom coloured glaze draining to white at the rim and suffused with a fine mist of bubbles providing an ‘orange peel’ effect, the interior and the base left white, the latter inscribed with a six-character seal mark; 15 cm., 5 7/8  in.
