A pair of lavender-blue glazed dishes, Marks and period of Yongzheng. Estimate 40,000 — 60,000 HKD. Photo Sotheby’s

each applied with an attractive pale lavender-blue glaze, save for the base left white and inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark; 15,7 cm., 6 1/4  in.

PROVENANCE: Sotheby’s Hong Kong, 20th-22nd May 1986, lot 383.

inely potted with shallow rounded sides supported on a slightly tapered foot, applied overall with a rich straw-yellow glaze, save for the base glazed white and inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double ring; 32 cm, 12 5/8  in.

PROVENANCE: Christie’s New York, 15th September 2009, lot 381.
