The opaque copper red glaze falling short of the rim and footrim, the base glazed white with an underglaze blue six-character mark, fabric covered fitted box with carved ivory catches. 16.5cm (6.1/2in) diam.
Provenance: Acquired by the vendor’s father in Hong Kong in 1935 and thence by descent.
