the rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to an incurved rim, moulded to the exterior with an undulating lotus scroll between archaistic keyfret and trellis bands, the top of the everted rim encircled by a keyfret border, covered overall in a greyish glaze suffused with a network of russet-brown crackle, stopping at the foot revealing the unglazed footring, the base impressed with a six-character seal mark; 22.7cm., 9in.
