Centering one emerald-cut sapphire approximately 19.47 cts., surrounded by two rows of 40 round diamonds, flanked by 14 round diamonds, altogether approximately 6.65 cts., signed Webb, approximately 16.2 dwts. Size 6 1/4, with inner guard. With signed box. Good condition. Well-made. 1 1/8 x 1″.
Sapphire: medium deep cornflower blue with violet hues, good color concentration face up, lighter color distribution in pavilion when looking at stone face down, fingerprint inclusion across table, not visible to slightly visible to eye, visible to eye under diamond light, fingerprint inclusion and inclusion near girdle, not visible to eye, minor nick on table edge and facet near girdle, not visible to eye, minordeep pavilion, very nice step-cut, lively. With AGL report, Ceylon (Sri Lankan) origin, no evidence of heat or clarity enhancement.
