A small green and aubergine yellow-ground ‘dragon’ dish, Kangxi six-character mark and of the period. Estimate £800 – 1,200 (€1,100 – 1,600). Photo Bonhams.

The interior roundel enamelled to the biscuit with two five-clawed dragons contesting a flaming pearl, the exterior with four groups of grapes, all on a yellow-glazed ground the base with a six-character mark in underglaze iron-brown. 13.1cm (5 1/8in) diam.
