The jar is powerfully potted with a broad body rising to a short tapering neck with a thickened mouth rim. It is decorated around the exterior with a continuous scene of four fish swimming amongst reeds and aquatic plants between a band of lappets to the foot and lotus scroll to the shoulder, below a classic wave band ; cracks. 13 in.
