with deep rounded sides rising to an everted rim, finely painted around the sides with four phoenix medallions and another on the interior, all reserved on a pale celadon ground thinning to white at the rim, the base left white and inscribed with a six-character seal mark; 14.5 cm., 5 3/4  in.
