the bowl overlaid with a layer of bright translucent blue glass, carved to the white ground with two cranes and a flowering branch of prunus, the pear-shaped vase similarly overlaid in deep greenish-black and carved to the white ground with foliate lotus, the latter inscribed with a four-character spurious Qianlong mark; the bowl 15.5 cm., 6 1/8 in.; the vase 19.5 cm., 7 5/8 in.
