modelled recumbent resting upon its tucked-in hindlegs and kneeling forelegs, with a robust rump, curvaceous spine and short bushy tail, its raised head pierced with a circular aperture on top, detailed with bulged eyes and lop ears encircled by ridged horns, all detailed with incisions, applied overall with an olive-green glaze, save for a patch left unglazed to one side of the hindquarter, wood stand and Japanese box – length 15 cm., 5 7/8  in.
