the ovoid body rising from a short foot to a tapering neck, painted to the exterior with four fish swimming amongst aquatic plants above cresting waves, all between ruyi heads at the shoulder and a lappet band at the foot, the domed cover with matching decoration the base with a four-character mark reading Fugui jiaqi (Beautiful vessel for the rich and honourable), wood stand. Quantité: 3- 19.5cm., 7 ¾in.
PROVENANCE: Acquired by the parents of the current owners in the UK in the early 20th century

the rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to a broad everted rim, the interior painted in rich cobalt-blue tones with a medallion enclosing a large leafy bunch of grapes, encircled at the rim with the beribboned emblems interspersed with flower sprays, the exterior with three fruiting spays beneath a band of prunus branches at the rim; 44.5cm., 17 1/2 in.

the waisted lower body rising up to high rounded shoulders and a cut-down neck, boldly painted with a five-clawed scaly dragon striding amongst scrolling clouds in pursuit of a flaming pearl above turbulent crashing waves, all below a wide band of ruyi-shaped lappets enclosing lotus sprays, the neck encircled by ruyi heads and the foot with a lappet band; 28cm., 11in.
