The necklace composed of knife-edge silver-topped bar links spaced by 19 button pearls approximately 4.3 to 3.6 mm. and 18 old-mine cut diamonds approximately 1.00 ct., completed by a clasp centering a button pearl encircled by old-mine cut diamonds, centering a slightly baroque drop-shaped slightly brownish gray pearl approximately 12.2 to 13.2 x 20.80 mm., capped by rose-cut diamond-set leaves, circa 1890. Length 16 1/4 inches.
With SSEF report no. 75862 stating that the pearl is natural, saltwater.
Pearl: medium light brownish-gray with silvery hue, cleanish, minor scratches, very good nacre, graceful drop shape on left side, top right side narrows slightly, slightly more rounded on lower right side, good luster. With SSEF report, natural, saltwater.
