Made for a civil official of the seventh rank, worked in gold and colored silk, woven with a mandarin duck facing the sun standing on a jagged rock emerging from turbulent waves, flanked by rockwork from which issue leafy branches bearing peaches and narcissus blooms on one side and floral blooms on the other, surrounded by five bats flying amid further clouds, within a keyfret border. Height 11 3/4 inches, width 11 3/4 inches. Estimate $2,000-3,000
